Southern Highlands Private Hospital offers comprehensive medical, surgical, rehabilitation (inpatient and day programs), palliative care and day oncology services.

Patient Services

Southern Highlands Private Hospital comprises of 33 single rooms with ensuites and 34 double rooms with ensuites. We have 4 operating theatres, a 7 bed day surgery unit and a 4 bed high dependency unit.

Depending on your reason for hospitalisation you may find yourself nursed for a time in our High Dependency Unit where you can be more closely monitored and observed by nursing staff.

While we make every endeavour to provide you with your accommodation preference, please note that in certain circumstances of high activity or emergency admissions, it may be necessary to offer you a shared room.

Staying with children in hospital – We encourage a parent(s) to spend as much time as posible with their child during the child’s hospitalisation. We also encourage parents, where possible, to assist with the washing, dressing, feeding and entertaining of their child as this helps minimise the trauma of being handled by strangers.

Our patients compliment us on our high quality freshly cooked meals.

Parking is available on-site for visitors.

Other Services

To compliment our other specialties, we provide services in physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech therapy, clinical psychology, discharge planning and a pre-admission clinic.

Support services such as Radiology (x-ray and CAT scan) and pathology are provided on site by contractors.

Medical cover after hours 7 days a week is provided.
