The Southern Highlands Cancer Centre is delighted to announce an additional Medical Oncologist working with our team. Dr Sarah Khan is a medical oncologist who has been working in Bowral with A/Prof Stephen Della-Fiorentina since early 2018. She has trained at Westmead, Campbelltown and Liverpool Hospitals. She is currently undertaking research in advanced breast cancer and has presented her work on fertility outcomes of women treated for early breast cancer at national and international conferences.
Her particular interests are breast and gynaecological cancers, but is skilled in managing all cancer types. She also has an appointment as Conjoint Associate Lecturer for Western Sydney University.
Dr Khan will further enhance the service provided by A/Prof Della-Fiorentina and Jo Pearson OAM, Nurse Practitioner over the past 25 years.
