Dr Andrew Foote studied Obstetrics & Gynaecology from 1990-96 at Newcastle, Sydney & Manchester
He pursued further training in Urogyaecology in 2000 & obtained a Medical Doctorate in 2003 titled “Cost effectiveness of Urogynaecological Treatments”
He has been a Visiting Medical Officer in Canberra from 1998 with appointments at Calvary Public & Private Hospitals. The Canberra Hospital, John James Private Hospital , National Capital Private Hospital, & Barton Private Hospital
He conducts regional outpatient clinics in Mogo, Bowral, and Wollongong.

- President of ACT Australian Medical Association (AMA) from 2006-8
- Chairman ACT Royal Australian College of Obstetricians &
Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) Regional Committee 2009-13

Dr Foote has published over 45 papers & abstracts nationally and internationally.
His interests are:
- bladder and pelvic floor problems
- day surgical treatments including Mirena, sling, ablation, vaginal repairs, contraception, and abnormal paps.
He is also a father of 5 including twins.
His non medical interests are: skiing, touch football, scrabble, & computers
