Following a short career as a physiotherapist, Dr Alexander Georges moved to medicine where he graduated from the University of Sydney in 2009.
He commenced his internship and resident training at Nepean hospital before beginning general surgical training in 2014 in the Western Sydney network. In 2018, Dr Georges obtained his fellowship in general surgery and took a position as a fellow at Nepean hospital in acute care surgery. In 2020, he was appointed as a general surgeon to Bowral Public Hospital and accredited at Southern Highlands Private Hospital.
He subsequently was cross appointed to Liverpool hospital and continues to be involved in acute and trauma care, as well as providing education at a college level.
Dr Georges consults on a variety of general surgical conditions and performs both open and laparoscopic surgery, gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
